Vibrations of the surface of an elastic double-layered half-space with a periodic system of cracks (Q2723264)

Considered is the problem of modelling the travelling process of seismic wave which is falling from the lower half-space and interacting with the fault zones on the boundary with the sedimentary rocks. It is assumed that there is a system of plane cracks on the interface of two media which is located periodically along the interface line. The authors study the fault effects on travelling of the shear seismic wave generated by deep focused earthquakes.
