The author studies a plane crack in a linear elastic body occupying a one-connected volume \(V\). Under certain assumptions on the crack location in the body a method is proposed for constructing the spatial weight function.The curvature variable of the crack countor is taken into account. The weight function is calculated for an internal elliptic crack.
