The authors report on experiments performed on dynamic arrays of Chua's circuit, where the main motivation is the experimental observation of chaotic synchronization effects. NEWLINENEWLINENEWLINEIt turns out that the actual synchronization effect strongly depends on the geometric nature of the interconnections of the circuits, namely for linear arrangements strong synchronization can be observed, while for rings of circuits both synchronization and instabilities could be observed, depending on the number of elements in the array. NEWLINENEWLINENEWLINEWhile the main emphasis of the paper lies on the description of the experiments (details of the electronic implementation are also given), some mathematical analysis supports the experimental observation.
