Solo service distribution in a batch acceptance and batch service queueing system (English)

The paper considers a batch acceptance and batch release \(k\)-service system that may be constrained to work as an \(m\) \((m<k)\) system as a result of blocking at entry and exit. The distribution \(Y_n\) of solo services for batches of size \(n\) is analyzed by means of transforming recursion relations on probability generating functions into moment generating equivalents.
