The vector method of the heavy rotor kinetic parameter analysis and nonlinear dynamics (English)
0 references
This monograph introduces the vector of body mass inertia moment at a specified point and for an axis oriented by a unit vector, and develops a new vector method of kinetic parameter analysis of heavy rotors and gyrorotors. The author also presents some new results on nonlinear dynamics of heavy rotors and gyrorotors. An accurate analysis and physical interpretation of sensitive dependence on initial conditions in heavy rotor dynamics are given. More precisely, the author proves that a heavy gyrorotor dynamics with an inclined axis in Earth gravitational field, described by a deterministic differential equation, possesses chaotic orbits. In addition, the author gives estimates of parameters of rotor systems for which the chaotic orbits exist.
