3D virus structures from model-based inverse problems (English)
0 references
The authors extend a method which they previously developed for computing 3D reconstructions of icosahedral harmonics viruses (which are linear combinations of spherical harmonics with icosahedral symmetry) from solution scattering. Here one focuses on the icosahedral symmetry which occur very often in virus particles. One uses the icosahedral harmonics in three different mathematical models, and one describes a reconstruction procedure for each mathematical model.NEWLINENEWLINEFor the entire collection see [Zbl 0961.00036].
