On the blow-up problem for nonlinear Kirchhoff equations with nonlinear dissipative terms (English)
0 references
The author considers the blow-up problem for the integro-differential equation of hyperbolic type with a nonlinear dissipative term. When the initial energy is smaller than the depth of an associated potential well and the initial displacement is in the exterior of this well, the solution is not global in time.
