Conclusions: The author believes that we are living in revolutionary times, where many of the basic principles of physics are being challenged by the need to go beyond QFT and in which many of our basic concepts will require fundamental revision. Will the exploration of the foundations or the philosophical meaning of QFT help us in these tasks? He admits that his prejudice is that the answer is no. The issues that face us now have little to do with those that were confronted in the struggle to make sense of QFT. Rather, it is the surprises that we unearth in the experimental exploration of nature as well as those that emerge in the theoretical exploration of our emerging theories that will force us to radical modifications of our basic preconceptions.NEWLINENEWLINEFor the entire collection see [Zbl 0964.00052].
