It is proved that for every \(n\) divisible by four there exists an \(n\) by \(n\) matrix \(H\) with entries \(\pm 1\) such that \(H\cdot H^t\equiv nI\pmod{32}\). The paper also determines the possible lengths of Golay sequences modulo \(16\).
