The optimal controller realization of sampled data systems with finite word length consideration (English)
0 references
The authors present a novel algorithm for the optimal realization of sampled-data control systems with Finite Word Length (FWL) implementation introducing a new stability measure \(\mu_1(X)\). They also consider the optimal controller realization problem for a digital controller with FWL interpreting it as a nonlinear programming problem. An illustrative example exploiting the simplex search method for finding the optimal realization is given.
