Convergence of \((0,1,2,3)\) interpolation on an arbitrary system of nodes (English)
0 references
This note deals with (0,1,2,3) interpolation on an arbitrary system of nodes in the interval \([-1,1]\). The author gives estimates for the fundamental functions. These results are then used to simplify conditions for convergence of Hermite-Fejér and Hermite (0,1,2,3) interpolation.
