Burn-in is a method used to eliminate the initial failure in field use. In this paper a new burn-in procedure for repairable components is proposed. During a burn-period, the failed component is only minimally repaired rather than being completely repaired. This procedure is shown to be economical and efficient when the minimal repair method is applicable during a burn-in process. NEWLINENEWLINENEWLINEFor related papers see \textit{J. Mi} [Adv. Appl.
