The paper deals with the identification of linear state-space models based on the data obtained from a closed-loop experiment. An algorithm to solve an equivalent open-loop identification problem is provided, and its applicability to the closed-loop system identification is discussed. The efficiency of the method is illustrated by means of a simulation example.
