A multi-model decomposition based method for the internal model pole placement control (Q2725439)

The authors use the multi-model decomposition technique for the internal model control with multiple output error feedbacks and propose a novel internal model control structure, i.e. the vertical parallel model structure or the horizontal parallel model structure. A theoretical analysis and a design example show that pole placement control can be realized using this newly developed internal model control structure just from appropriate selection of the feedback gains.
