Improvement of robust singularity-free adaptive control of multivariable linear systems (English)

The authors propose a novel modified parameter estimation procedure. This new method is based on the paper [\((*)\) \textit{J. Li}, \textit{K. Xing} and \textit{S. Gao}, Acta Autom. Sin. 23, 598-604 (in Chinese) (1997; Zbl 0931.93028)], and it is used to solve singularity problems or problems of loss of controllability in the indirect adaptive control of multivariable linear systems. This new method can guarantee system controllability for the estimated models, and it improves the implementation possibility in real time control circumstances. It is much less complicated in calculation than the method given in \((*)\).
