The author studies solutions of non-autonomous linear differential equations on convenient vector spaces. The theory presented generalizes the Hille-Yosida theorem and some of its non-autonomous versions. The paper gives a sufficient condition for the existence of exponential and evolution mappings on infinite dimensional Lie groups in the sense of Kriegel, Michor, Milnor and Omori.
