Some examples of discrete groups and hyperbolic orbifolds of infinite volume (English)

Gehring, Gilman and Martin forced to consider two-generator subgroups \(\langle f,g\rangle\) of \(\text{PSL}(2,\mathbb{C})\) with \(\text{tr}^2f\), \(\text{tr}^2g\) and \(\text{tr}[f,g]\) real. Here the author describes criteria for \(\langle f,g\rangle\) to be discrete and non-Fuchsian if \(f\) and \(g\) are both hyperbolic elements.
