The author considers projections of points on a curve, namely the points on a curve that have the minimum distance from the point being projected. A characteristic of such points in the case of the exponential curve is given. Projection of points on a curve appears during the solution of certain problems of mathematical statistics. The author proposes some problems for the readers.
