An obstacle problem with \(L^1\)-data is considered and its variational formulation is given, using truncation functions. The continuity of the solutions with respect to the obstacle is studied. The object of the paper is to obtain the convergence properties of the sequence of the solutions depending on the convergence of the sequence of the obstacles.
