The reviewer and \textit{R. Panda} (R. Srivastava) [Indagationes Math. 40, 502-514 (1978; Zbl 0402.42016)] solved a certain class of dual series equations involving the classical Jacobi polynomials. Here, in the paper under review, the authors consider the corresponding problem associated with two families of six series equations. The analogous problems associated with triple, quadruple, and quintuple series equations have already been investigated in earlier works cited in the paper under review.
