Linear discrete-time systems with matrix valued and affine integral constraints on the inputs and outputs are considered. By defining suitable subsets of \(l_2\), different system uncertainties can be taken into account or performance criteria for controller development can be specified. The approach is motivated by three examples.NEWLINENEWLINENEWLINEThe equivalence of the formulated problem to operator inequality conditions is proved. The results can be used for deriving linear matrix inequalities for a large class of synthesis problems.
