Starting from the mathematical model of a ``boost'' DC-to-AC power converter, a new approach for the approximate generation of a biased sinusoidal AC voltage signal as an input is proposed. The procedure takes into consideration the reference inductor current which is obtained by the parametrization of this signal in terms of the capacitor voltage.
