Baer-invariants with respect to two varieties of groups (English)

Properties of the Baer-invariants of groups with respect to two varieties \(\mathcal V\) and \(\mathcal W\) are investigated. Some inequalities for such Baer-invariants of finite groups are established. A generalized version of a Stallings type theorem is discovered. Also, a necessary and sufficient condition for which the Baer-invariant of a group \(G\) can be embedded into the Baer-invariant of the factor-group \(G/N\), where \(N\) is a normal subgroup of the group \(G\) from the variety \(\mathcal W\), are found.
