Although there is a constant effort to avoid nonlinearities in electronic circuits, there are intrinsic nonlinearities for which there is a constant trend to obtain the spectral structure at the output when the nonlinear system is excited by a sum of sinusoid of different frequencies. The authors give a new method to answer this problem based on the so-called generalized frequency response stemming from Volterra series theory. The new methodology is presented as a step by step numerical procedure. The paper is of high interest for those working in nonlinear electronics.
