In this paper, T. Ishihara's results concerning the harmonicity of vector fields (regarded as maps from a Riemannian manifold to its tangent bundle endowed with the Sasaki metric) are generalized to sections of an arbitrary vector bundle over a Riemannian manifold, carrying a fibered metric and a linear connection.
