The identification problem of the finite-memory Wiener-Hammerstein system with Gaussian inputs, Gaussian noise and saturation-type system nonlinearity is considered. Two adaptive gradient search algorithms are applied to identify, respectively, a scaled convolution of the input and output linear dynamics, and individual linear subsystems separately. The average behaviour of the algorithms is examined.
