From the paper, I quote the first sentence and the last two sentences: ``In contrast to the practice in the large town planning consultancies, where computers have been used for a long time, computer applications in architectural and town planning history are still the exception in the Netherlands'' ``The Groningen study is intended to make clear what possibilities exist for the analysis of a plan of a town for which little source material is available and how the computer can be employed as a tool for the analysis. A GIS system, in which cartographic and alpha-numeric data can be directly linked to each other, appears to be the most important aid''.NEWLINENEWLINEFor the entire collection see [Zbl 0964.00032].
