Modified direct gradient descent control of nonlinear systems (English)

The method based on direct gradient descent control applied to nonlinear systems is proposed. The control inputs are manipulated so as to decrease a performance function. The convergence speed or the asymptotical stability is improved by considering the time derivative of the performance function. To improve the convergence, the method is modified by decreasing both the performance function and its time derivative.
