Exact integrals and solutions for finite deformations of the incompressible Varga elastic materials (English)

The author presents an overview of exact solutions for geometrically and physically nonlinear problems, using perfectly elastic incompressible Varga materials. A considerable part of the paper is based on author's recent developments. Especially, first-order integrals are evaluated for the states of plane and axisymmetric strain, plane stress, and for radially symmetric deformation, leading via the incompressibility constraint to various second-order problems. Some results describe an unexpected behaviour due to possible deficiencies of Varga material in the case of very large deformations.NEWLINENEWLINEFor the entire collection see [Zbl 0962.00003].
