Some characteristics and its applications of the exterior derivative and exterior algebra (English)
0 references
This article gives a brief introduction to the concepts of the exterior algebra, exterior product and exterior differential form, and their applications to linear algebra and advanced calculus. In particular, the former two are applied to the computation of the matrix determinant including its Laplace expansion formula, while the latter to the illustration of the change-of-variable formula in multiple integrals, exact differential forms and the theorems of Green, Stokes and Gauss. All these are standard materials.
