Let \(X\), \(Y\) be locally convex Hausdorff topological vector spaces and \(L(X,Y)\) the space of all continuous linear operators from \(X\) into \(Y\); an automatic continuity theorem for infinite matrix mappings of the form \(A= (A_{ij})\) with \(A_{ij}\in L(X,Y)\) is established.
