Regular precession of semi-closed circuit of Lagrange gyroscopes (English)

The semi-closed circuit of gyros is investigated: the system of ``\(n\)'' heavy Lagrange gyroscopes, the first one has the fixed point and the last one has the point that moves along some fixed axis. The gyroscopes are jointed by elastic universal hinges (Hooke's hinge). The nonlinear equations of motion are written. The conditions of existence of precessional motions are found. The particular case of two bodies is studied in more detail.
