Group analysis of the Dubreil-Jacotin equation (English)

The author has analyzed the equation \(u_{xx} + u_{yy} +\frac{\rho'(u)}{2\rho(u)}(u^2_x + u^2_y) = F(u)\) with use of the classical Lie method. His main result is obtained for \(F(u)=1/\sqrt{\rho(u)}\). Some invariant solutions are found.
