New formulations of law of large numbers and its convergence in the framework of possibility theory (English)
0 references
From a fuzzy arithmetic viewpoint, there are some studies on the limit behaviour of the fuzzy arithmetic mean for \(n=\) number of items to infinity. The results are called laws of large numbers but they have nothing to do with a probabilistic setting. In this paper, the author ``translates'' some of these results in a probabilistic language using a possibility-probability-transformation due to \textit{D. Dubois}, \textit{H. Prade} and \textit{S. Sandri} [in: Proc. 4th IFSA Congr., 50-53 (1991)].NEWLINENEWLINEFor the entire collection see [Zbl 0955.00046].
