Discounted possibilistic cash flows versus probabilistic cash flows (English)
0 references
In spite of an uncertain economic environment the authors propose to use fuzzy sets and numbers in estimating cash amounts and interest rates to capture the vagueness of knowledge. They present fuzzy versions of: present, capitalized, future and equivalent uniform annual value methods, as well as benefit/cost ratio and payback period ones. Formulas in the case of fuzzy cash flows in discrete compounding (geometric series) and for fuzzy continuous cash flows (trigonometric series) are also supplied. No proofs are given.NEWLINENEWLINEFor the entire collection see [Zbl 0955.00046].
