Part I presents some recent progress in classical general relativity, and main attention is restricted to the positive mass conjecture and to its extension. The interaction of gravity with other force fields and quantum-mechanical particles are studied in Part II. Particle like solutions and the case of nonexistence of black hole solutions for the Einstein-Dirac-Maxwell equations are studied. Using Chandrasekhar's method, the author obtained the extensions to the axisymmetric case. The general class of axisymmetric black-hole geometries is obtained.NEWLINENEWLINENEWLINEThis paper is certainly an important contribution to general relativity theory.
