Dynamical system analysis for the Einstein-Yang-Mills equations (English)

The static, spherically symmetric Einstein-Yang-Mills equations with SU(2) gauge group are studied with the help of a dynamical systems approach. With this method the solutions can be classified in a neighbourhood of the origin. The existence of solutions with an oscillating metric is proven as well as the existence of local solutions for known power series expansions. The extendibility of the solutions is studied and new local singular solutions are given.
