Positivity and spread of bilinear time-frequency distributions (English)

In this chapter we consider time-frequency distributions that, just like the Wigner distribution, involve the signal bilinearly and that have correct shift properties in the sense that shifts of the signal in time and/or frequency are reflected by corresponding shifts of the distributions in the time and/or frequency variable.
