Keralese mathematics was developed between the fourteenth and sixteenth century. During this period, Kerala had a continuous contact with China, the Arabian world and the European countries. In this article the authors examine the epistemology of the calculus of the Kerala School, its transmission and consequent educational implication. The article is divided into five sections viz., (i) Kerala mathematics, (ii) A preliminary discussion on transmission, (iii) The case for the transmission of Keralese Calculus to Europe -- 1: Priority, Communication routes, and methodological similarities, (iv) The case for the transmission of Keralese mathematics to Europe -- 2: Motivation, Opportunity, Circumstantial evidence and documentary evidence, (v) Epistemological implications of the conjectured transmission of Keralese mathematics.NEWLINENEWLINENEWLINEEach section is well written and informative.
