Acting on a suggestion of \textit{N. Elkies} [AMS/IP Stud. Adv. Math. 7, 21-76 (1998; Zbl 0915.11036)] the author describes a computer program for determining the explicit form of the modular polynomials \(\Phi_p(X,Y)\) of \(j(z)\) for primes up to \(p=151\). Sources are given (including web sites) for related work for smaller values of \(p\).
