In this paper the theorem of \textit{S. Baron} [Uch. Zap. Tartu. Gos. Univ. 177, Tr. Mat. Mekh. 5, 106-119 (1965; Zbl 0166.07201)], \textit{E. C. Daniel} [Proc. Japan Acad. 40, 65-69 (1964; Zbl 0129.04304)] and \textit{S. N. Lal} [Mat. Vesnik, n. Ser. 8(23), 109-112 (1971; Zbl 0229.40004)] on \(|\overline N,p_n^0|_1\) summability methods has been generalized for \(|\overline N,p_n^{\alpha}|_k\) summability methods, with \({\alpha}>-1\) and \(k>1\) or \(k=1,\) by modification of the Cesàro type.
