Basis moments of the theory of the platform inertial navigation systems are presented. Detailed analysis of the paper by \textit{S. M. Onishchenko} [``On systematic errors of equations of functioning of the platform inertial navigation systems'', in: Stability and control in mechanical systems. Kiev. Institute of Mathematics NAN of Ukraine, 42--49 (1992)] is proposed. The author claims that conclusions of the paper are wrong.
