    Mathematical modeling of one dimensional Stefan problem (English)

    The kinetics process of limestone dissociation is investigated. A numerical method for computing the temperature fields and the free boundary location is developed. A finite difference method for approximating the boundary value problem with explicit definition of the unknown boundary is applied. The temperature and time of complete dissociation and the speed of the free boundary dependence from the heat transfer coefficient is investigated.
