In this paper, as the authors claim, a minimal introducticn to Indian astronomy and calendars is given and then an overview of Tithicintāmaṇi of Gaṇeśa, a medieval Indian treatise on astronomical tables is given. The individual verses which describe rules to calculate the arguments are explained for using the tables. An attempt to reconstruct the tables and to demonstrate the meanings of each of the columns is made towards the end. In the appendix, the results of the recomputation of two of the constants by the authors are given. Graphs drawn with Mathematica give comparison between the reconstructed values and the original data as is given in the published texts of the treatise ``The Comparisons'', in the words of the authors, ``indicate that our reconstruction does not fully succeed yet in reproducing the tabulated data, but seems to be proceeding along the right lines to a correct understanding of Gaṇesa's techniques''.NEWLINENEWLINENEWLINEThe initial part -- the introduction to Indian astronomy -- is not very diligent though the rest is meticulously done.
