The author uses the Melnikov method to show the existence of subharmonic solutions in planar Hamiltonian systems perturbed by a bounded periodic function. The proof of the main theorem is very close to the work of \textit{J. Guckenheimer} and \textit{Ph. Holmes} [Nonlinear oscillations, dynamical systems, and bifurcations of vector fields.
