The phase shift difference for binomial potential function (English)
0 references
From the introduction and summary: The general theory of scattering and experimental studies in nuclear and atomic collision have had great share in the development in the modern science. Many of these theoretical and experimental advances have been the result of their mutual stimulation. The problem of deducing a potential from the observed phase shifts has led to many mathematical investigations. Here, first we evaluate an integral by virtue of calculus of residue and then apply this result to the problem of determining the phase shift difference for binomial potential functions.
