Here, the authors aim to rigorously justify the well-known Langer modification in the framework of exact WKB analysis. More precisely, they describe the semiclassical behaviour in a neighbourhood of \(x=0\) of the solutions to the radial Schrödinger equation NEWLINE\[NEWLINE-h^2\;\frac{d^2u}{dx^2}-\left\{V(x)+\frac{h^2l(l+1)}{x^2}\right\}u=Eu,NEWLINE\]NEWLINE where \(l\) is a fixed positive integer (the angular quantum number).NEWLINENEWLINEFor the entire collection see [Zbl 0969.00055].
