An algebraic method for feedback stabilization of \(n\)-D control systems and its implementation via mathematical mechanization (English)

This paper deals with the feedback stabilization of single-input-single-output (SISO) systems. Using the theory of varieties, the author establishes conditions for the feedback stabilization of a SISO system in one or multiple dimensions. A constructive method is also given for constructing the feedback controllers and determining whether or not a variety intersects an algebraic convex set.
