A quadratic programming approach to robust controller design (English)

This paper investigates robust controller design by quadratic programming. Following a brief discussion on fixed order pole assignment by quadratic programming, a procedure for stable simplex building is introduced. Then, another building procedure of some low-dimensional convex stable subsets around an arbitrary Schur stable point is given by using the reflection vectors. This approach is extended to robust controller design problems for the plant subject to parameter uncertainty.
