The data assimilation problems with a nonlinear, nonsymmetric and time-depending involved operator are studied using the methods of previous papers of the author [Differ. Equ. 31, 2035-2041 (1995; Zbl 1030.49500) and ibid. 34, 382-388 (1998); translation from Differ. Uravn. 34, No. 3, 383-389 (1998; Zbl 0947.65064)]. It is shown that for a wide class of problems, the control operator is compact, and an estimate for the eigenvalues is obtained. This leads to a class of iterative algorithms for solving the problems.
